About Our Owners
Deborah Pherson brings 30 years of medical billing experience to the company. Before deciding to start her own medical billing center, she was an accounts receivable manager, consistently yielding high collection ratios for a large, multi-provider chiropractic practice. Deborah’s extensive knowledge of the medical billing industry provides our clients with an expertise that is unmatched by our competitors.
Lisa Wagner brings a background in client management, database management and customer service to the company, as well as over 10 years of medical billing experience. Before starting Merrimack Billing Solutions with Deborah, Lisa worked for a direct marketing agency, managing multi-million dollar campaigns for the company’s largest client. Lisa’s customer relations experience allows her to provide clients of Merrimack Billing Solutions with one on one attention to the specific needs of their practice, translating these needs into results.
Both Deborah and Lisa offer extensive knowledge of commercial insurance company, Medicare, and Medicaid guidelines, as well as HIPAA compliance and expertise in the claim adjudication process.
